Microbiological analysis
We offer you different microbiological analyses to avoid health risks
Microbiological analyses help us study food and water to determine if there is any health risk when consuming or being in contact with them.
At Biomedical Center de Occidente, we offer the following microbiological analyses:
- Water and Ice: Water must have specific microbiological characteristics to be suitable for human use and consumption and to prevent the transmission of gastrointestinal diseases, among others.
- Legionella analysis: Legionella is a bacterium widely distributed in aquatic ecosystems around the world, where it can survive in a wide range of physicochemical conditions. Legionella transmission is airborne and enters the human organism through the respiratory system.
- Live and Inert Surfaces: Surfaces where food is handled play a fundamental role in terms of sanitation. It is important to have sanitation standards following applicable Mexican regulations.
- Swimming Pool Water: To prevent and minimize health risks from gastrointestinal, skin and other diseases caused by ingestion, contact and inhalation of pathogenic microorganisms in swimming pool water, it is necessary to control and monitor the microbiological load in accordance with applicable standards.
- Food and Beverages: Sanitary control in food preparation is the set of orientation, education, sampling and verification actions that must be carried out to prevent foodborne diseases and protect consumers’ healths.
